JOB TITLE: Front Office – Team Leader – Front Desk

In your role as Team Leader - Front Desk, you serve our guests with professionalism and a focus on their needs, making their stay unforgettable.  

 

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors with a smile and professionalism, meeting their needs from when they arrive until they go.
  • Sustain efficient correspondence with all relevant departments to guarantee seamless provision of services.
  • Ensure positive working connections with the front desk staff, paying particular attention to guest relations and guest service agents.
  • Oversee all front desk staff to ensure guests are treated politely and professionally.
  • Continually learn about hotel and neighbourhood services; provide information and address inquiries from visitors.
  • Handle visitor concerns promptly, effectively, and considerately, and make sure you follow through.  
  • Remain aware of the guest's profile.
  • Make sure the visitor gets the lodging they anticipated.
  • After the shift, verify that the billing and attachments on every cashier's city ledger bill are accurate.
  • Observe the health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures of the hotel.

Education, Qualifications & Experiences

As a front desk agent, you provide our guests with courteous, attentive service to make their stay unforgettable.  

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • From arrival until departure, serve every guest with promptness, courtesy, and efficiency to attain high customer satisfaction through individualized service.
  • Make sure visitors are personally greeted, if possible by name, and shown to their room so they feel valued and anticipated.
  • Assist guests with inquiries and requests on hotel activities and conduct room and hotel familiarization
  • Retain current knowledge about hotel details and nearby services, such as hours of operation, specials, occasions, and points of interest, to address any inquiries from visitors.
  • Remain aware of the occupancy levels and the rates that must be marketed daily.  
  • Apply front desk cashiering standards accurately and adhere to all systems, regulations, and procedures.
  • Utilizing computerized Front Office systems, process accounts from check-in to check-out, ensuring that incidental charges are posted accurately.
  • Ensure no personal information about any visitor is shared to protect their privacy.
  • Show that you fully comprehend the hotel's rules, guidelines, and service expectations. You should also be fully aware of the hotel's amenities and events.  
  • Observe the hotel's health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
