Job Openings at the Tanzania Police Force - Multiple Positions - Form 4 and Up

Originally known as the Tanganyika Police Force, the Tanzania Police Force was formally founded on August 25, 1919, according to an announcement published in the Gazette No. Vol.1 No.21-2583 by the English government. However, principal legislation from 1939 (THE POLICE FORCE AND AUXILIARY SERVICES ACT OF 1939) legitimately formed the Police Force.

The notification stated that Major S.T. Davis was in charge of the Army Headquarters in Lushoto District, Tanga Region. After arriving in Tanganyika in the latter half of 1921, a group of European police inspectors filled their demands and recruited enough qualified soldiers to set up a specialist police training school in Morogoro Region. As a result of white officers occupying all the senior positions in the police force, black troops who underwent training were nonetheless assigned lower-level jobs. Opportunities for employment are being announced by the Chief of the Police Force for young individuals who have completed Form Four, a Diploma, an Advanced Diploma, or a Degree.
