JOB TITLE: Reservation & Ticketing Sales Agent

Responsibility:

ROLE PURPOSE OF THE STATEMENT

To provide efficient and effective customer-focused Passenger Ticket Sales & reservations

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In accordance with the policies, procedures, and customer expectations of the carrier, confirm, re-confirm, and assign seats for customers on PW flights.
    Providing PW clients with fare quotes, including group prices and bookings.
    In order to maintain compliance with corporate regulations, it is essential to submit sales reports and sales dispatches daily.
    Provide clients with all the necessary flight information.
    Process and distribute electronic tickets in line with established business policies.
    Process customer enquiries, reissue and revalidate electronic tickets, and deal with aircraft delays.
    Take care of travel-related questions sent via email and phone.
    Follow management's instructions when making outbound calls to sell PW products.
    In order to safeguard and improve revenue collection in order to fulfil the expectations of both carriers and customers
    Deal with package sales in accordance with business regulations.
    Create a reliable database of information on walk-in customers.
    While performing your duties or tasks, you must take reasonable precautions to ensure your own safety and the safety of others.
    Work together with the company to ensure it meets all regulatory requirements, Adhering properly to all safety protocols and gear supplied by the employer,
    Using only the machinery for which they have received the appropriate training and certification
    Notifying the business right away of any flaws in processes or machinery that could endanger employees.
    Taking all necessary precautions, which may involve filing safety reports, to avoid harming themselves or others, as well as causing damage to or loss of aircraft.
    Refraining from wilfully tampering with any Company-provided items for the sake of security
    Disclosure of any inconsistencies between safety and the Company's operational objectives
    Performing any additional tasks that your supervisor may assign

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE

  • The IATA/UFTAA Foundation/consultants diploma is a plus, as is a bachelor's degree in business or social science from an accredited university.
  • Validation in the appropriate software
  • Service delivery expertise in a high-pressure customer service setting
  • Possessing fluency in the relevant foreign languages is a plus.
