Turkish Airlines Vacancy | Cargo Representative

ABOUT US

The national flag carrier of Turkey is Turkish Airlines. Currently, 49.12% of THY is owned by the Republic of Turkey's Prime Ministry Privatization Administration, with 50.88% of shares being traded publicly.

Turkish Airlines had five aircraft when it first took off in 1933. In 1982, the airline expanded into a global aviation enterprise with 27 aircraft, 3.909 seats, and 5.735 staff members. The airline now operates flights to 304 locations worldwide in 122 countries:

  • 114 destinations in Europe
  • 17 destinations in America
  • 37 destinations in the Far East & Asia
  • 53 destinations in Africa
  • 35 destinations in the Middle East

As the airline that flies to more countries than any other in the world, TK will expand the scope of its exclusive services by adding new destinations, increasing the number of flights, and adding new aircraft to its fleet.

Already a major global cultural and commercial center, Istanbul is ideally situated to be a transit hub for the aviation sector, thanks to its perfect geographic location that bridges continents. With the imminent opening of the new airport on October 29, 2018, Istanbul will further strengthen its position among the most active aviation hubs in the region and in the world.
