Job Brief:

In your role as Construction Engineer, it will be your responsibility to oversee the completion of the hydropower project's civil works. You will be responsible for making sure that the project is finished on time, according to safety regulations, and according to the specifications. An individual with extensive expertise in dam and hydropower construction who is also proactive and meticulous is required for this role.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Direct the civil works crew in carrying out their duties on a hydroelectric project.
  Monitor the project's progress and make sure it's up to code in terms of quality, safety, and specs.
  Oversee all paperwork, such as daily reports, inspection logs, as-built drawings, and construction documents.
  Supervise and assist with heavy foundation work and deep excavation.
   Monitor the diversion works, the erection of reinforcing and structural steel, and the laying of heavy-duty concrete.
   Make that the construction of the surge tank, penstock portions upstream, and concrete gravity dam are done correctly.
  Manage the project's operations and address any issues that crop up as the building process progresses.

Required Competencies:

1. Skill in building concrete gravity dams, penstock upstream portions, and surge tanks for hydropower projects.
   A familiarity with hydropower facilities that generate electricity by running water.
   Solid background in heavy foundation work and extensive digging.
    Ability to use project management software, as well as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
    Skill in pouring reinforced and embedded structural steel, as well as heavy-duty concrete.

Qualifications:

• The minimum requirement is a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
   Proven track record in building hydroelectric dams and projects.
  Knowledgeable in the design and construction of hydropower facilities, with an emphasis on run-of-the-river generation.
   Competence in both teamwork and individual performance under time constraints.
