 To cover the position of BU Procurement Strategy & Performance Manager in our team, we are looking for a very driven, meticulously structured self-starter.   Direct communication with the Plant S&P's, Procurement Category Managers, Country Procurement managers, Zone S&P team should be natural for this person.   The staff person will answer to the S&P VIC Manager.

JOB TITLE:  BU VIC Price PPM

Key outputs and responsibilities:

  • Variance of prices reporting for the BU
     Variance in price problem solution
     Programs for price variance savings help
     Procurement  VIC accruals handling and reversals control
     Track one offs and monitor them.
     Recon Facilitation of Suppliers  Verifying FX and commodities rates as well as reasonableness for hidden FX and commodity exposure
     Weeley &  Monthly analysis of PV reasonability and personal guidance on corrective activities
     Monthly price variance analysis and CPM/CatMan commentary
     COGNOS build up for VIC pricing reconciliation
     Monthly VIC RAU T&M deck completeness accuracy, completeness & review (NG BU PPM only).
     Monthly VIC Pack T&M deck completeness accuracy, completeness & evaluation (NG BU PPM only).
     Monthly VIC S&P T&M for completeness and review (NG BU PPM only), accuracy of price deck
     Finished good FX and excise population into CTRM
     End of end management for finished items
     Support for WAPT and Payables alignment
     Population from the MAP report
     Preclosing procedures to guarantee month end in line with projections

CTRM: volume accuracy and Validation:

  • Control consumption volume forecast accuracy using planning
     Maintaining and sensing check accurate conversion factors between commodity and material
     Control monthly actual consumption accuracy with LE tools
     Control monthly actual commodity volume into CTRM's accuracy.
     Control the accuracy of consumed predicted numbers for LE tool
     Control projected commodity volume into CTRM by accuracy.

FX exposure population & management for the BU

  • Responsible for accuracy of FX exposure in FX currency and timing
  • Responsible for FX review with treasury

Mark up: BU markup validation and accuracy

  • Liaising with control & MUBEX on differences and matching
  • Support in reconciliation on Mark up between what has been generated by ERP and what has been posted by Mubex

Annual:

  • Load budget from bottom up into ERP
     Support for accuracy questions and adherence to 1YP LE volumes from bottom up. Historic pricing.  UoM alignment in BU instrument
     Management of the bottom up chronology
     For plug analysis and allocation, bottom up/top down reconciliation with 1YP target accuracy splits comm/NC by plant by material.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant 3-year university degree in i.e., accounting, business, economics, engineering or similar
  • MBA / CIMA / CA (SA)would be advantageous

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in finance in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience Product Costing
  • Knowledge of Financial Reporting
  • Knowledge of general accounting and consolidation practices
  • Project management, problem assessment and solving skills
  • Working in an ERP environment
  • Working in a process-oriented organization

Technical Competencies:

  • Computer skills (MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of consolidation & reporting tools (Cognos, TM1, BI)
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems SAP, SYSPRO
