Serene Microfinance LTD is looking to hire a qualified IT and digital marketing officer (location: Dar es Salaam) in order to streamline operations.

POSITION: I.T. and Digital Marketing Officer 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES  

In order to deliver a professional service, we will guarantee a high degree of assistance with IT-related problems, graphic design, website management, social media account management, and digital marketing and promotion of microfinance products and their brand.  

SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTIONS: 

• To investigate user problems, identify their source, and determine possible solutions;
• To monitor Saver and all operating systems used by Microfinance
• Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, workstations, network cabling, and other related equipment and devices.
• To Create user accounts for staff to access the Microfinance network and loan system
• To maintain a log of every user's error and problem along with the actions needed to fix it;
• to preserve the equipment and systems used for information technology;
• to run computers and other accessories like disk drives, printers, etc. As equipment is operating, get it ready for use and keep an eye on it and the communication networks.
• To identify and notify the appropriate staff of any discrepancies found during minor debugging; to report major equipment faults;
• to respond to any technical questions that departments, units, and user personnel may have;  
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring digital marketing plans; designing marketing strategies and  communication tactics ;
• To conduct digital marketing and promote the brand image of Microfinance
• Conduct regular assessments of key market competitors in terms of marketing initiatives, product offerings, and customer service approaches.
• Monitoring marketing innovations in the microfinance industry for new ideas and strategies.
• Standardization of the Microfinance image
• Designing Marketing tools, for example, Fliers, Brochures, ID Cards, Business Cards, etc
• To perform digital marketing for the promotion of Microfinance products and maintain Microfinance  image
• To be aware of upcoming events in Microfinance, ensuring photographs and arrangements are carried out  effectively and efficiently, 
• carry out any associated tasks that his superiors may assign him.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES: 

Holder of a Degree in one of the following fields:

• Information systems, computer science, information technology, or related computer degrees from accredited universities;
• The candidate must be a Tanzanian national under 40.
• a high-integrity team player;
• outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities;
• able to multitask and operate under pressure;
• Capacity to operate with little oversight
• prior experience working for a financial institution;

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: 

I.T. Officer shall report to the Ang. General Manager
