Position; Restaurant Supervisor

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Restaurant Supervisor located in Kilimanjaro . The Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties will include;

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Training and supervising staff – waitress and barman.
  • Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety are maintained throughout the restaurant.
  • Handling customer complaints and resolving issues to the satisfaction of the customers.
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations in the restaurant.
  • Coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure that orders are prepared in a timely manner.
  • Providing excellent customer service to enhance the dining experience.
  • Performing administrative tasks such as shift scheduling and performance evaluations.
  • Financial control of restaurant operation

Qualifications

  • Supervisory skills, including experience managing staff
  • Strong customer service skills and a dedication to maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry, including knowledge of industry standards and regulations
  • A passion for delivering high-quality food and service
  • A degree in Hospitality, Restaurant Management, or a related field is preferred
  • Fluent in English, fluency in Swahili is a plus

Responsibilities

Managing and updating Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables
Preparation of Payroll and record entries into the accounting software.
Ensuring statutory payments e.g. PAYE, SDL, VAT are filed and paid on time
Maintaining petty cash and filing receipts, invoices, and bank slips
Preparing financial reports.
Handling queries from External Auditors during annual audit sessions
Double-check the accuracy of information to discover weaknesses or missing data and strive for strict compliance and high-quality performance;
Recommend necessary ideas based on the review findings to improve the quality of reporting;

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Receptionist at Altezza Travel in Moshi. The Receptionist will be responsible for performing receptionist duties, such as greeting and assisting guests, answering phone calls, and maintaining a tidy and organized reception area. They will also handle clerical tasks such as managing correspondence and scheduling appointments.

Qualifications

  • Neat personal appearance
  • A high level of personal hygiene
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Experience in receptionist duties and customer service
  • Strong clerical skills, including data entry and file management
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Positive and friendly attitude
