Established in 2005 under Government Notice No. 202 released on July 22, 2005, the Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE) is The creation of the College was a top concern for the Tanzanian government in response to the severe graduate teacher and expert shortages in the education sector brought on by the explosive increase in school enrolment. Among other projects, the growth was driven by the outcomes of the Secondary Education Development Program (SEDP I) from 2004 to 2009 and the Primary Education Development Program (PEDP) from 2002 to 2006. The College is located about 5 kilometres from the City Centre by Kilwa Road, Plot 324 and 325 Block "T" Chang'ombe in Temeke Municipality, Dar es Salaam Region. New National Stadium is nearby. The College comprises 52.97 acres of ground. The College also owns a 1.17-hectare plot of land on Plot No. 964/1 Block "V." The College's excellent position near City core offers chances in many spheres of investment.

We are soliciting applications from appropriately qualified Tanzanians for the following temporary vacant posts.
