JOB TITLE: Sales and Reservation Officer

Job Summary:

In this role, you will be in charge of marketing the company's vacation packages, taking reservations, and ensuring that customers are satisfied with the service they receive. Contributing to the company's success, this function entails meeting sales goals, fostering positive connections with clients, and making sure booking processes go well.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Marketing:

  • Market and sell groups and individuals various types of vacation packages, trips, and associated services.
    Meet or surpass sales goals set for each month and quarter.
    Build and nurture connections with clients to inspire them to do business with you again and to recommend you to others.
    Seek for fresh company prospects and take part in advertising initiatives.

Reservations Management:

  • Respond to customer questions and offer individualised vacation plans, itineraries, and airline tickets.
    Oversee and verify reservations for lodging, transportation, and other trip-related services.
    Verify and process all reservations promptly and accurately.
    Facilitate the delivery of services by coordinating with vendors and business associates.

Customer Service:

  • Respond in a timely and courteous manner to enquiries, concerns, and special requests from customers.
    Assist customers with all aspects of their trips, including making itineraries, determining visa needs, and recommending travel insurance.
    Gather feedback and foster loyalty by following up with clients after their trip.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Always keep the most current records of all sales, payments, and bookings.
    As needed, compile sales and reservation records.
    Maintain conformity with all applicable industry standards and business policies.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Market Research and Competitor Analysis:

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in tourism, hospitality management, business administration, marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Experience in sales, reservations, or customer service, preferably within the travel and tourism industry.
  • Familiarity with booking systems, travel platforms, and reservation tools is essential.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre is a strong advantage.

Sales and Customer Service Skills:

  • Proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales goals.
    Proficient in interpersonal dynamics, convincing argumentation, and bargaining.
    Capability to resolve issues in a professional manner and deliver outstanding customer service.

Industry Knowledge:

Job Summary:

Ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of cargo, baggage, and other goods is the loader's responsibility. In this position, you'll keep operations running smoothly by making sure everything is handled in accordance with corporate processes, safety rules, and airline needs.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Assist in the secure and effective loading and unloading of supplies, freight, and passengers' bags.
    Make sure things are handled correctly to avoid harm or misfortune.
    Transport items safely by adhering to weight distribution and stacking requirements.
    Stay in compliance with the company's handling protocols and airline safety requirements.
