Purpose of the Role

This role focuses on ensuring smooth business processes, top-notch controls, and excellent service delivery. It’s about making sure both people and systems work together to give customers a great experience while keeping everything secure.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate Operational Excellence projects to meet strategic goals.
  • Promote consistent use of Operational Excellence tools, systems, and practices across the organization.
  • Enhance customer experience by solving problems and working with different teams.
  • Ensure strong operational controls and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to identify issues, implement fixes, and close audit/compliance gaps.
  • Manage costs effectively to boost business efficiency.
  • Ensure quality in key performance areas across the organization.
  • Help improve staff skills through performance reviews and training suggestions.
  • Act as a key advisor to the General Manager – Bank Operations on controls and customer experience.
  • Handle other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

What You Need to Succeed

Key Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of BOT regulations and banking practices.
  • Awareness of global technology trends.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • A creative, results-oriented, and self-motivated mindset.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, engineering, or a related field.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Certifications in banking, finance, project management, operations, or Six Sigma are a plus.

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in operations, audit, or analytical roles.
  • Minimum 3 years in a management position.
