Role Overview

The Premium Trade Manager will oversee our top-tier relationships with Reserve accounts, including major travel, hotel, and lifestyle venues. You’ll work to strengthen these partnerships, drive sales, and enhance our ecommerce presence. This role is key to maintaining our brand’s value and reputation in luxury markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute Standards: Embed and maintain our Minimum Execution Standards for key accounts, ensuring quick complaint resolution.
  • Build Partnerships: Develop strong relationships with key accounts. You’ll create business plans and set customer trading terms, working closely with finance.
  • Achieve Sales Goals: Work with large retailers and distributors to meet visibility, availability, and sales volume targets, supporting our ecommerce goals.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure the team is trained on Diageo’s Marketing Code and all compliance guidelines.
  • Report & Analyze: Provide regular insights and data to help shape category strategies and management decisions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 6+ years in sales, ideally with account management, field sales, or trade marketing experience. Financial literacy and customer profitability skills are a plus.
  • Skills: Strong communication, ability to build partnerships, and P&L management. Previous experience in luxury/reserve markets and team management is a plus.
  • Driving: Valid driver’s license and driving experience.

  • Market Insight: Knowledge of luxury/reserve market dynamics, especially competitors and customer behaviors.
  • Strategic Thinking: Experience in change management and cross-functional collaboration.
