About the Role
Coca-Cola Kwanza Ltd is hiring for an exciting opportunity in our Manufacturing department in Mbeya, Tanzania. If you have solid skills and experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, and Packaging, this role might be perfect for you. The selected candidate will report directly to the Manufacturing Director.
Key Responsibilities
Full Manufacturing Oversight: Oversee Manufacturing, Engineering, Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ), and Utilities. Lead and manage all core functions within Manufacturing.
Plan & Execute Business Goals:
- Develop and execute plans to meet the productivity and customer service objectives of the region and CCBA.
- Ensure productivity targets and budgets are consistently achieved.
Supply Chain Collaboration: Work closely with Logistics to streamline Supply Chain functions and continuously improve long-term performance across the chain.
Manufacturing Efficiency:
- Focus on smooth operational execution, efficient materials flow, and elimination of bottlenecks.
- Maintain Manufacturing assets in top working condition to support production.
Implement Supply Chain Strategies: Drive the Supply Chain Way and identify the tools needed to meet plant business goals.
Develop People & Processes: Ensure employees have the skills and support to meet business improvement objectives.
Capital Expenditure (CAPEX): Lead CAPEX planning and execution for the plant.
Labour Relations: Handle engagements with local labor unions and address industrial relations in the region.
Promote Health & Safety: Build a Health and Safety culture for all employees.
Risk & Governance: Manage Risk and Governance processes to ensure compliance and business continuity.
Community Engagement: Maintain positive relationships with local communities and relevant interest groups.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience:
- Around 10 years in Manufacturing, with at least 5 years at a senior management level.
- Proven ability to deliver results in Manufacturing and a strong understanding of Supply Chain practices.
- Leadership & Strategy:
- Skilled in strategic planning, resource allocation, and leading teams.
- Track record of fostering employee engagement and contributing effectively to senior management goals.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability:
- Able to make sound decisions through a mix of analysis, experience, and judgment.
- Skilled at adapting to change and handling ambiguity.
- Communication & Relationship Building:
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- High integrity, resilience, and a collaborative approach to management.
General Requirements
