Join Our Team in Information Security

Are you ready to help protect vital information at the bank? We're looking for an Information Security professional to secure our systems and keep data safe. Reporting to the Head of ICT, this role is essential in managing risks, spotting vulnerabilities, and leading our data security efforts. You’ll also educate the team on security best practices and keep them informed about their responsibilities for data privacy.

About the Role

  • Lead the Information Security Program: Set up and manage a security program to coordinate and communicate information security activities across the bank.
  • Implement Security Measures: Oversee key protections like access control, encryption, and user authentication.
  • Manage Threats and Vulnerabilities: Take a proactive approach to threat detection and manage vulnerabilities by leading corrective actions.
  • Develop Security Policies and Guidelines: Create and maintain security policies, guidelines, and processes to keep our security practices consistent.
  • Monitor Compliance: Ensure that everyone follows the security policies and practices we’ve put in place.
  • Promote Security Awareness: Train staff to foster a culture of security, helping everyone understand their role in protecting information.
  • Classify and Protect Data: Guide the bank on identifying and protecting critical systems and sensitive information.
  • Secure Networks and Systems: Set standards for network protection, ensuring data is safe from unauthorized access, changes, or loss.
  • Maintain Disaster Recovery Plans: Lead efforts to develop and maintain the bank’s disaster recovery plan to keep data secure in emergencies.
  • Monitor Compliance with Data Laws: Keep the bank updated on data protection laws, ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Educational Background: Degree in IT or Computer Science.
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISA, or MCSA certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: 5-10 years in information security, specifically in the banking sector.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal skills, comfortable presenting to various teams.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of data center processes.
