Position: HSE Officer
Location: Dar Es Salaam, TECIC Tanzania Limited
Are you passionate about safety and health? TECIC Tanzania Limited in Dar Es Salaam is looking for a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer to help keep our workplace safe and compliant. If you have experience in Occupational Health and Safety and a knack for promoting safe work practices, this could be a great opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and Monitor HSE Policies: Put safety programs into action and make sure they’re working effectively.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify potential hazards and ensure we’re following safety regulations.
- Promote HSE Best Practices: Lead training sessions to boost safety awareness across the team.
- Investigate Accidents and Incidents: Find out what went wrong and come up with ways to prevent future issues.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: Up to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Bonus Skills: Knowledge of the telecommunication industry and ISO certification (both are a plus).
