Position Overview
The HSE Manager will help implement the Enterprise Management System for the EACOP Project. This role is key to ensuring both corporate and local operational requirements are met in line with safety, health, and environmental standards.

Primary Responsibilities
- Act as the key management representative for health, safety, and environmental systems, reporting to the CPP Project Director for EACOP and the Chinese HSE Manager, Wang Liutao.
- Lead the HSE function for the Uganda & Tanzania operations, ensuring staff and stakeholders follow health, safety, security, and environmental management practices.
- Promote compliance with Occupational Health and Safety laws and customer requirements.
- Implement the Enterprise Management System within the location to meet corporate, location, and contractual guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with the Location and Project Management Teams, as well as the global CPP HSE Community.
- Maintain departmental guidelines and contribute to resolving disputes with clients, vendors, or different project divisions.

Industry-Specific Experience
- Actively commit to health, safety, and environmental management within project environments.
- Possess strong knowledge of industry standards (American, British, and international codes) and onshore engineering practices.
- Have experience with brownfield projects and asset service contracts.
- Demonstrate expertise in Occupational Health & Safety Management and improving management systems.
Education, Qualifications, and Training
- Extensive experience at a leadership level within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Significant experience in HSE and integrity management, and related fields.
- Experience managing HSE for oil and gas projects, especially brownfield projects.
- Familiarity with interfacing across various disciplines like electrical, process, mechanical, and civil engineering.
- Optional: TBOSIET and Offshore Medical certifications.
- Knowledge of the East African region is a plus.
