About the Location

With 77 rooms, 12 suites, and 5 villas, our Lodge has something for everyone, including dining spots, a Discovery Centre, a kid-friendly club, a relaxing spa, and a fitness center. It’s just a 45-minute drive from the Seronera Airstrip, making it easy to reach.


Job Overview

As a General Maintenance Level 2 Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping the Lodge running smoothly by handling essential repairs and services. From electrical and plumbing tasks to refrigeration and safety equipment maintenance, you’ll ensure guests have a top-notch experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Preventative Maintenance: Regularly inspect equipment, handle upkeep, and maintain logs.
  • Operate Plants: Oversee systems like the Generator, RO, and STP.
  • Repair Work: Fix equipment, including motors, starters, and chillers.
  • Inventory: Help keep track of spare parts and consumables.
  • Workplace Standards: Follow Four Seasons’ safety rules and standards.
  • Team Support: Collaborate well with coworkers and supervisors.
  • Guest Assistance: Quickly respond to guest requests and room maintenance needs.
  • Emergency Response: Be ready to handle situations like fires or power outages.
  • Clean and Organize: Keep engineering areas, grease traps, and plumbing in good shape.
  • Special Projects: Take on special assignments as directed.
  • Professional Conduct: Maintain a neat appearance and arrive on time.
  • Health & Safety: Know our "Lead with Care" safety program and attend all required training.

Additional Support

  • Equipment Installations: Assist with setting up or moving equipment as needed.
  • Energy Conservation: Support hotel energy-saving initiatives.
  • System Installations: Help with electrical and mechanical systems for renovations.

Reports to: Engineering Supervisor/Engineering Manager


Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or vocational certificate in a trade.
  • Experience: At least 2 years in a similar maintenance role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HVAC, refrigeration, mechanics, electrical, plumbing, and generator operations.
  • Computer Knowledge: Basic computer skills for operating systems.
  • Language: Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
