Human Resources Officer
Location: Dar-es-Salaam
Job Type: Full-time
Reports to: Human Resources Manager
Job Summary:
As the Human Resources Officer at CARE Tanzania, you'll play a key role in managing HR services for the team. This includes implementing HR policies, handling staff inductions, maintaining HR records, managing financial requests, and supporting employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement HR policies and respond to staff and vendor requests
- Coordinate employee orientation and induction programs
- Maintain HR files and databases
- Prepare financial and procurement documents related to HR
- Organize staff training and development
- Manage employee separations and final benefits
Qualifications:
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or a related field
Experience and Skills:
- At least 2 years of experience in HR operations
- Knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws and HR best practices
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills

Finance Analyst
Location: Dar-es-Salaam
Job Type: Full-time
Reports to: Accounts Coordinator
Job Summary:
As a Finance Analyst at CARE Tanzania, you'll ensure accurate accounting, manage payables and receivables, and coordinate cash forecasting and payments. You’ll also make sure that we comply with tax laws and other statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the recording of accounts payable and receivable
- Review supporting documents for accuracy and compliance
- Perform month-end closing activities and reconcile accounts
- Monitor and clear outstanding accounts and balances
- Manage payroll and statutory deductions, ensuring timely payments
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting or finance, preferably with an international NGO
