Role Overview: MST is seeking an organized and proactive professional to join as Director of Corporate Services in Dar es Salaam. In this role, you will report to the Country Director and collaborate with the senior leadership team. Your key responsibility will be to manage and oversee corporate support services, including Information & Communication Technology (ICT), Procurement, Logistics & Distribution, and Administration & Security. As a member of the senior leadership team, you will help steer the organization towards growth and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of business support services, creating and implementing strategies, procedures, and systems that promote risk management, efficiency, and value for money within Corporate Services.
- Oversee and manage risks related to Corporate Services, including policies, contracts, procurement, and negotiations, ensuring all comply with stakeholder requirements and minimize risk.
- Ensure the procurement team adheres to donor requirements and the organization's procurement manual, while also providing ongoing training to the team.
Requirements:
- A Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
- In-depth knowledge of donor requirements, including procurement policies, regulations, and compliance (e.g., FCDO, USAID, GAC).
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical procurement, customs clearance, and importation procedures (desirable).
- At least six years of experience in a senior role in a reputable organization, ideally within health management, family planning, community development, and/or social marketing.
- Registration with relevant professional bodies (CPSP holder with valid PSPTB registration is an advantage).
- Strong leadership skills, capable of motivating teams and fostering innovation.
- Excellent strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
