About Us

The School of St Jude is a well-known charitable school in Africa. We provide quality, free education for 1,800 students each year, offer higher education access for hundreds of graduates, and supply quality teachers to over 20,000 students in government schools. With support from global donors, we’re able to make free education for bright, underprivileged Tanzanian students a reality.

What You’ll Do

  • Promote and maintain the visibility of artwork across three campuses.
  • Manage artwork orders, coordinate logistics, and keep records organized.
  • Work with the Academic and Marketing teams to create and share artist statements and promotional materials.
  • Oversee gallery logistics, ensuring artwork is packaged securely and delivered on time.
  • Engage with visitors on the Art Initiative Program.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to keep online art portfolios up to date and reflective of student talent.
  • Team up with CSY volunteers, assigning tasks as needed.
  • Promote student artwork on both local and international stages to foster support.
  • Organize and join exhibitions, fairs, and events to showcase and fundraise for student artwork.
  • Ensure art procedures are followed to create a supportive environment for students and the Art Initiative Program.
  • Develop strategies to increase funding for student art through digital marketing, in-person promotions, and internal exhibitions.
  • Ensure all displays around the organization are well-maintained.
  • Coordinate with the Experience and Culture Manager for smooth operations and accurate record-keeping.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Fine Arts, Business, or a related field from a reputable institution.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and Outlook.
  • Experience: At least one year in sales, marketing, or art promotion, with knowledge of both local and international markets.
  • Personality: Energetic, flexible, patient, personable, reliable, and friendly.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Management: Prior experience managing a small team and solid time management skills are a plus.
