What You’ll Do
Supervise and Support the Sales Team
- Oversee sales team activities, including product and account activations.
- Help the Branch/Sales Manager with recruiting, training, and retaining skilled sales representatives.
- Share regular reports with management, such as sales updates, lead generation, customer feedback, and new client onboarding stats.
- Create engaging sales presentations and tools to boost sales.
Additional Responsibilities
Client and Team Engagement
- Assist in maintaining clear communication with clients and provide timely feedback.
- Kick off creative sales strategies to improve brand visibility.
- Set an example for the team with strong work ethics and professional behavior.
Compliance and Team Development
- Investigate and address non-compliance with company policies.
- Train new and current sales reps regularly, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Identify new market opportunities and stay updated on competitors.
Market Presence and Organization
- Ensure sales reps have up-to-date route plans and conduct weekly check-ins with them in the field.
- Keep detailed records of leads, prospects, pricing, sales activities, and active clients.
- Monitor marketing expenses to stay within budget.
Event Participation and Market Trends
- Represent the company at trade shows and marketing events.
- Assess team performance and suggest improvements.
- Spot trends that may impact the company’s performance now or in the future.
- Ensure product displays are attractive and accurate in stores and sales points.
What You’ll Need
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in sales or marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Valid driving license.
- 3+ years of experience leading a team.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Key Skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Leadership abilities to manage teams of 10–30 people.
Bonus Skills
- Experience in the FMCG industry.
- Ability to train and coach effectively.
- Strong multitasking and task prioritization capabilities.
