What You’ll Do

Supervise and Support the Sales Team

  • Oversee sales team activities, including product and account activations.
  • Help the Branch/Sales Manager with recruiting, training, and retaining skilled sales representatives.
  • Share regular reports with management, such as sales updates, lead generation, customer feedback, and new client onboarding stats.
  • Create engaging sales presentations and tools to boost sales.

Additional Responsibilities

Client and Team Engagement

  • Assist in maintaining clear communication with clients and provide timely feedback.
  • Kick off creative sales strategies to improve brand visibility.
  • Set an example for the team with strong work ethics and professional behavior.

Compliance and Team Development

  • Investigate and address non-compliance with company policies.
  • Train new and current sales reps regularly, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
  • Identify new market opportunities and stay updated on competitors.

Market Presence and Organization

  • Ensure sales reps have up-to-date route plans and conduct weekly check-ins with them in the field.
  • Keep detailed records of leads, prospects, pricing, sales activities, and active clients.
  • Monitor marketing expenses to stay within budget.

Event Participation and Market Trends

  • Represent the company at trade shows and marketing events.
  • Assess team performance and suggest improvements.
  • Spot trends that may impact the company’s performance now or in the future.
  • Ensure product displays are attractive and accurate in stores and sales points.

What You’ll Need

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in sales or marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
  • Valid driving license.
  • 3+ years of experience leading a team.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Key Skills

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Leadership abilities to manage teams of 10–30 people.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience in the FMCG industry.
  • Ability to train and coach effectively.
  • Strong multitasking and task prioritization capabilities.
