Senior Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer
Job Description
The Senior M&E Officer will lead the organization’s Monitoring & Evaluation plan, working closely with the Head of M&E to drive the organization’s M&E strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement theories of change and results frameworks.
- Roll out the M&E plan, ensuring it aligns with the M&E strategy and work plans.
- Oversee data collection, quality checks, and review processes.
- Lead performance evaluations, surveys, and case studies.
- Design indicators, set targets, and manage reporting and database systems.
- Coordinate data collection with partners and ensure compliance with national surveys.
- Adjust M&E plans as needed and create data collection tools.
- Conduct data entry, cleaning, processing, and analysis.
- Lead special M&E studies or pilot projects.
Qualifications and Skills
- Master’s degree in M&E, development economics, statistics, public health, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in M&E.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including econometric analysis.
- Data management and reporting experience.
- Excellent collaboration and team-building skills.
- Capable of delivering high-quality work efficiently.
Junior Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer
Job Description
The Junior M&E Officer supports the Senior M&E Officer by performing technical tasks, coordinating activities, and assisting with research.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide an overview of project activities and deadlines.
- Support project monitoring based on key indicators.
- Document and report on project progress and results.
- Help maintain data quality standards and procedures.
- Conduct qualitative research under Senior M&E Officer’s guidance.
- Assist with reports, translations, and meeting coordination.
- Design data collection tools and conduct data analysis.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in project planning, development economics, statistics, public health, or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and statistical software (SPSS, STATA).
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English and Swahili.
Commercial Manager
Job Description
The Commercial Manager oversees all commercial operations, including procurement, logistics, and finance. This role requires deep knowledge of business operations and international trade.
Duties and Responsibilities
Procurement:
- Oversee vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Ensure timely, cost-effective procurement of materials and equipment.
- Manage supplier relationships and resolve disputes.
Logistics:
- Coordinate logistics, including transportation and inventory management.
- Ensure efficient product delivery to customers.
- Handle import/export processes and comply with regulations.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports on commercial activities.
- Implement cost-saving measures.
- Manage budgets and allocate resources.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated on and ensure compliance with relevant laws and industry standards.
Team Management:
- Lead a team, providing mentorship and fostering a positive work environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- At least 7 years in a commercial management role.
- Knowledge of Tanzania’s import/export regulations.
- Experience in procurement and supply chain management.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4 Hana is a plus.
