About the Ruvuma Landscape

The Ruvuma landscape in Tanzania is teeming with biodiversity and is essential for millions who depend on its natural resources. WWF’s Tanzania Country Office (TCO) is hard at work to safeguard this unique environment, ensuring a sustainable future for both people and wildlife. This landscape, shared with northern Mozambique, is a top conservation priority for WWF Tanzania.

Currently, the Ruvuma Landscape program is looking for a National Coordinator to lead conservation projects and promote sustainability in Tanzania’s portion of this beautiful landscape.

Position Overview

The National Coordinator will oversee Tanzania’s role in the Ruvuma Transboundary Landscape program. This involves guiding conservation projects, building partnerships, and leading key interventions. This position is perfect for a skilled professional who can work collaboratively with:

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Advanced degree in Wildlife, Natural Resources Management, or a related field
  • Experience: Background in project planning, monitoring, and evaluation; field coordination expertise
  • Skills:
    • Managing multi-stakeholder projects, including donor relations
    • Team leadership across diverse cultural and technical backgrounds
