Job Overview:
As the Taxes and Reporting Section Head, you’ll lead the tax compliance and reporting efforts for the company. You’ll make sure everything follows local and international tax rules, while also finding smart ways to save on taxes. You’ll work with a team to prepare tax returns, manage audits, and create tax policies that support the company’s financial goals. Collaborating with different teams, your role will reduce tax risks, improve efficiency, and support smart decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Compliance: Ensure all local, state, and federal tax returns are filed on time and accurately.
- Tax Strategy Development: Create and apply tax-saving strategies that follow the law.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the accuracy of tax-related financial statements and disclosures.
- Team Leadership: Lead and guide your tax team, offering support on complex tax matters.
- Audit Management: Handle tax audits by working with auditors and tax authorities to address questions and solve issues.
- Risk Management: Spot and address tax risks to keep the company safe.
- Policy Development: Set up tax policies and procedures that ensure consistent and legal practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with finance, accounting, and legal teams to give insights on tax-related business decisions.
- Research and Analysis: Keep up-to-date with tax laws, researching and analyzing to improve tax planning.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: 7-10 years in a similar role.
- Certifications: CPA, ACCA, or CTA certification.
- Experience with Big Four: Experience working with one of the Big Four audit firms (KPMG, PwC, EY, Deloitte).
- Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- English Proficiency: Fluent in business English.
