As a Senior PMEAL Coordinator, you’ll be part of ActionAid Denmark’s international team, working within the Policy, Evidence, and Fundraising (KNOW) group. This team focuses on global advocacy, impact communication, and supporting fundraising efforts. You’ll work alongside a PMEAL colleague based in Zimbabwe and report to the Head of KNOW.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring & Evaluation
- Lead the creation of theories of change, result frameworks, and MEL systems for both development and humanitarian programs.
- Ensure that MEL frameworks are inclusive and reflect priorities like localization and adaptive programming, in line with CHS standards.
- Develop tools for documenting and presenting results, learnings, and best practices.
- Guide the development of theories of change for fundraising and project designs.
- Strengthen PMEAL capacity within the organization and with partners by designing trainings, meetings, and partnership visits.
Impact & Learning
- Oversee the creation of an “evidence repository” for AADK.
- Design tools for qualitative assessment, including feminist and anti-racist storytelling.
- Lead reviews, quality assessments, and evidence reports with both internal and external partners.
- Promote learning and experience-sharing across programs by developing adaptive programming systems.
What You’ll Bring
- At least 7 years of leadership experience in design, monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems in both development and humanitarian settings.
- Solid background in data analysis, report writing, and participatory methods like Value for Money (VfM) and Outcome Harvesting (OH).
- Proven experience working with local civil society organizations and institutional donors.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Strong facilitation and coordination skills with a systematic approach to tasks.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
