Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence:
- Develop and maintain sales operational policies and procedures, including standard operating procedures.
- Keep an updated database of customers.
- Process project info and send it to the field team.
- Ensure all info is recorded accurately and checked for quality.
- Take corrective action if needed.
- Create sales reports and share feedback with stakeholders.
- Set deliverables, scope, and timelines with field managers.
Project Management:
- Contribute to business planning and develop processes for smooth implementation.
- Help decide on resources needed, using cost-effective methods to meet client goals.
- Continuously optimize processes by benchmarking them against best practices.
- Create project plans to define and meet objectives.
- Monitor field staff work quality and take action if necessary.
- Provide regular feedback to the Business Unit or Country Manager.
- Manage and execute sales projects as needed.
Account Management:
- Handle multiple clients from the regional client list.
- Ensure all trade visit reports are shared with clients and the cluster executive.
- Show analytical thinking and creativity to retain clients and grow the business.
- Track and control detailed sales targets.
- Address customer issues and follow up until resolved.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitors.
- Ensure both you and your team meet performance standards.
Administration:
- Create efficient admin systems.
- Submit reports to management and clients.
- Document and manage expenditures.
- Oversee Smollan assets, like HHT devices.
- Ensure compliance between the field team and distributor.
- Submit incentives and salary info on time.
- Work with the People department to address payment issues for sales staff.
- Maintain staff performance documents and scorecards accurately.
- Monitor budgets, focusing on:
- Salaries, travel costs, etc.
- Sales project budgets.
Budget Monitoring:
- Manage operating expenses such as salaries and travel costs.
- Oversee sales project budgets.
Sales & Distribution Objectives:
- Help with business planning and developing processes to achieve sales goals.
- Ensure sales processes align with client objectives and best practices.
- Create and implement strategic sales distribution plans.
- Break down weekly and monthly sales targets and communicate them clearly.
- Drive portfolio sales growth through demand creation.
- Monitor field staff work and take action when necessary.
- Provide feedback to the cluster executive.
Requirements:
- 4-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong background in sales, marketing, project management, and client interaction.
- Degree in Sales & Marketing.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong communication skills.
- Business acumen.
- Leadership abilities.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage time and handle pressure.
- Knowledge of sales, business, and distribution channels.
