Position: Marketing Manager
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Job Purpose:

As a Marketing Manager, your job is to promote VisionFund Microfinance Bank’s brand, products, and services. You will develop and execute marketing strategies to improve the bank’s visibility. Your goal will be to ensure the branches are well-branded and have a strong presence both online and offline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a marketing strategy to promote the bank and attract customers.
  • Lead the marketing team and develop campaigns from start to finish.
  • Create valuable content for the website and social media to engage target audiences.
  • Build partnerships with industry players and vendors.
  • Manage the marketing budget and track the success of advertising campaigns.
  • Ensure all marketing materials align with the bank’s brand identity.
  • Act as the bank’s public relations representative when needed.
  • Help VisionFund maintain a strong brand across various marketing channels.

Main Tasks:

  • Design strategies to increase traffic to the bank.
  • Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns, from ideas to action.
  • Create engaging content for the website and social media.
  • Build relationships with key players and agencies in the industry.
  • Manage the marketing budget and allocate funds efficiently.
  • Approve marketing materials like banners, brochures, and case studies.
  • Track the performance of marketing campaigns and compare results with goals.
  • Work with branch offices to choose the right locations for branches.
  • Help brand the branches to maintain a professional look.
  • Analyze market trends and develop reports for management.
  • Increase brand awareness and generate new business.
  • Manage the marketing department’s budget and strategies.
  • Coordinate branding, advertising, and promotions.
  • Present quarterly and annual marketing reports to senior management.
  • Represent the brand at trade shows and industry events.
  • Manage all external communications in coordination with the CEO.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, or business administration (a master’s degree is a plus).
  • At least 5 years of experience as a marketing manager, preferably in microfinance.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies, channels, and analytics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Good time management and organization skills.
  • Confident public speaker.

Other Skills:

  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with social media marketing.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision.
