Are you ready to take on an exciting role in credit administration? As a Credit Administration Officer, you'll play a key part in managing and authorizing credit transactions. This includes checking security documents, disbursing credit facilities, and keeping track of credit reports and emails. You’ll also respond to audits and queries from both internal and external sources, along with handling various tasks assigned by the Head of CAD or the Head of Credit.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the Lending Portfolio: Help effectively manage, monitor, and control our lending portfolio.
  • Scrutinize Security Documents: Carefully check security and disbursement documents to ensure they are error-free.
  • Authorize Credit Disbursements: Make sure credit disbursements are approved by the right authorities.
  • Collect Security Documents: Assist in collecting and perfecting pending security documents.
  • Prepare Reports: Help prepare, review, and submit reports to the BOT and CRB.
  • Support Credit Committees: Assist in preparing reports for credit committees and the board.
  • Audit Follow-Up: Respond to and follow up on internal and external audit reports.
  • Handle Queries: Address any questions from Audit, Compliance, and Risk teams.
  • Core Banking System Entries: Authorize entries and disbursements in our Core Banking System (CBS).
  • Document Follow-Up: Follow up on any pending documents with business teams.
  • Test New Systems: Review and test any new enhancements in CBS or related reports.
  • Maintain Collateral: Ensure 100% maintenance of collateral in CBS.
  • Upkeep of FDR: Keep track of Fixed Deposit Receipts (FDRs) pledged as security.
  • Other Duties: Take on any other tasks assigned by management as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: A university degree in Banking & Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is essential.
  • Skills: Excellent knowledge of MS Office and strong financial management and analytical skills are required.

Work Experience

  • Experience: You should have at least 6 years of experience in a banking environment. Proven credit administration skills and experience in managing a diverse credit portfolio are a must.

Effort and Involvement

  • Work Environment: Expect to spend long periods sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and reviewing documents.
  • Team Interaction: You’ll interact with and supervise subordinates with a direct reporting relationship.
