The Role
As a Health Volunteer and Assistant Nursing Officer at CCBRT, you’ll provide top-notch nursing care in areas like OPD, IPD, or OTD. Your duties will involve ensuring patients are prepped and ready to see the doctor or head to the operating room. You’ll help out during exams and surgeries, translating for patients when needed (from Kiswahili to English or vice versa), and always maintaining high standards of safety and patient dignity.
In addition to assisting with clinical procedures, you’ll handle patient records, manage the flow of patients in your area, and sometimes provide sensitive medical information or counseling.
The Candidate
To qualify for this role, you’ll need:
- Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery
- Valid Registration and License from the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council
- Solid communication skills in both English and Kiswahili
- A flexible, multitasking attitude, proactive mindset, and a strong desire to learn
