Job Summary
We are looking for a Head of Operations & ICT to manage and coordinate TSL’s business environment. This role involves establishing policies, procedures, and workflows to promote business excellence while aligning with the company’s vision and fostering a positive corporate culture. You will oversee TSL’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) agenda, including infrastructure, systems, and services. Collaborating closely with senior management, you will implement the company’s ICT strategy and maintain technology solutions to enhance business operations, efficiency, and productivity.
As a vital member of the senior management team reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will play a key role in process reengineering to improve organizational efficiency and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Operations
- Oversee daily operations across all departments to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Work with TSL’s senior management to create and implement operational processes, reporting systems, and company policies that support growth and profitability.
- Drive company results from operational and financial perspectives in collaboration with the Head of Finance, CEO, and other key executives.
- Establish tools to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of internal processes.
- Foster a positive and growth-oriented environment while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Regularly evaluate business performance by analyzing data and metrics, developing plans to improve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability.
- Partner with the Head of Finance to achieve favorable outcomes regarding sales, profitability, and cash flow.
- Develop and manage operational and project-oriented budgets to ensure optimal resource utilization and business growth.
- Act as the main advisor on operational issues, keeping up with market developments to maintain a competitive edge.
- Coordinate across departments to identify areas needing improvement.
Information Communication Technology (ICT)
- Develop and implement a comprehensive ICT strategy aligned with TSL’s objectives and long-term vision.
- Collaborate with senior management to set technology priorities and investment strategies.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of TSL’s technology infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and telecommunications systems.
- Ensure the integrity and security of TSL’s ICT systems and data through effective backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity measures.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to meet TSL’s operational needs.
- Develop and enforce IT policies to ensure compliance with regulations and industry best practices.
- Establish and monitor service-level agreements (SLAs) with stakeholders and vendors.
- Conduct audits to identify and address potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of ICT projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Coordinate with internal departments and vendors for seamless project execution.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to gather lessons learned and improve future projects.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, including contract negotiations and performance monitoring.
- Evaluate vendor proposals to ensure alignment with TSL’s requirements.
- Develop and manage the ICT budget, ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Monitor ICT expenditures and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities to optimize ICT investments.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- 5-10 years of executive-level operational experience.
- Proven experience in process reengineering, project management, or similar roles.
- Understanding of other functions such as HR, Finance, and Marketing.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
