Role Overview: Civil Engineer
At LCH Builders, we’re looking for a Civil Engineer to drive our civil engineering projects to success. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Creating Detailed Designs: Develop engineering designs that follow industry standards and guidelines.
- Project Oversight: Manage project budgets, schedules, and ensure high standards.
- On-Site Guidance: Support construction teams to ensure smooth, efficient progress.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve technical issues to keep projects on time and on budget.
- Collaborating: Work with architects, engineers, and stakeholders for effective project delivery.
Qualifications Needed
- Must-Haves:
- Tanzanian citizenship
- Bachelor’s or Diploma in Civil Engineering (or related field)
- Minimum of 2 years in civil engineering design, planning, and project management
- Strong skills in civil engineering principles
- Project management experience: budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- A genuine passion for construction and growth with LCH Builders
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience on local civil projects in Tanzania (roads, bridges, etc.)
- Familiarity with Tanzanian building codes
- Proficiency in software like AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools
- Flexibility to work at various locations across Tanzania
