The main goal is to boost growth in loans, deposits, and other products at our branches. You’ll manage all sales activities and provide support, training, and monitoring for branch sales officers.
Job Description
A. Business Soliciting – Acquisition/Recruitment
- Bring in new customers by regularly visiting existing ones.
- Make sure all customer acquisition points work well to enhance customer experience.
- Identify key areas in your locality for business growth.
- Review potential customers through KYC and risks to encourage them to open accounts.
- Collaborate with Business Development Partners to create products that fit local needs.
- Provide feedback to the Head of Customer Network on product performance at branches.
- Work with Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) and Business Banking (BB) to explore retail opportunities.
- Respond to customer queries related to business matters.
B. Deposit Mobilization
- Understand local business dynamics to grow deposits.
- Supervise deposit mobilization campaigns at branches.
- Actively seek deposits from all clients to meet the bank’s targets.
- Follow activities on the branch activity calendar to maximize results.
C. Cross Selling
- Promote all bank products: Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, Agent Banking, Insurance, Deposits, Loans, FX, and Transfers.
- Gather market intelligence about local competition and services.
D. Relationship Management
- Engage customers at branches.
- Interact with current and potential clients to build trust and loyalty.
- Identify new clients and strategize ways to add them to NBC’s customer base.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships by listening to clients and finding joint solutions.
- Manage customer interactions and participate in corporate social events.
- Keep track of customer activity to reduce churn.
E. Reports, Monitoring & Turnaround
- Maintain a database of high-net-worth customers at the branch.
- Monitor branch growth through KPIs.
- Ensure timely loan processing and recovery support.
- Oversee PAR (Portfolio at Risk) and NPL (Non-Performing Loans) for branch retail loans.
- Provide reports and insights to Stressed Asset Management Units to aid recovery efforts.
F. Coaching and Mentoring
- Regularly coach and mentor the branch sales team.
- Track and report performance against agreed KPIs.
Other Duties
- Help with branch budgeting for sales activities.
- Carry out other tasks assigned by the Branch Manager.
- Prepare reports and business proposals for management.
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration
- 3 years of banking experience
- Broad knowledge of banking practices and regulations
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies Required

- Knowledge of BOT regulations

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas in Business, Commerce, and Management Studies.
