Key Purpose
As a Business Development Representative, you will help drive growth in sales volumes, expand market share, and boost our competitiveness. You’ll achieve this by offering market-driven services that establish sustainable competitiveness within clearly defined segments.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets for your assigned areas.
- Manage and supervise distributors in your sector (orders, payments, redistribution).
- Ensure a complete range of IB products is available in reasonable stock at customer and retail outlets.
- Enhance brand visibility through effective merchandising at customer and retail locations.
- Place chillers correctly in high-performing outlets, using them exclusively for IB products.
- Monitor and maintain recommended prices of our products at sales outlets.
- Keep a close eye on competitor activities.
- Communicate daily about distributor volume targets.
- Ensure distributors meet model stock requirements for all brands and packs.
- Achieve all relevant sales KPIs in your area (pricing, availability, visibility, etc.).
- Call on retail customers weekly.
- Ensure sales teams are presentable and address any non-compliance.
- Deliver excellent after-sales service.
- Establish effective communication channels to maintain good customer relations.
- Provide timely feedback to customers and management about concerns.
- Respond promptly to customer queries.
- Stay presentable and maintain all necessary trade documentation.
Profile
- Minimum Diploma or B.Sc. in Marketing or a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry.
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of sales in FMCG.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
