For what purpose is the job?

Working on talent management techniques across the region, you will be answering to the Regional People & Culture Director. Your preoccupation is Advocating diversity, equity, and inclusion will enable the company to meet its objectives. On initiatives that truly affect our organisational culture, you will also be closely collaborating with the Global People & Culture team.

Main Duties

Talent Management (25%)

  • Work with top leadership all around to develop a robust talent management strategy.
  • Plan yearly talent reviews and advise national office managers.
  • Track and document talent management initiatives with information from our People & Culture system.
  • Tell tales of professional advancement and skill improvement to show our influence.
  • Emphasising diversity, set optimum standards for succession planning.

Leadership and Management Development (25%)

  • Help leadership teams with ongoing education and growth.
  • Make sure programs for talent management and leadership complement one other.
  • Using both internal and outside resources, present top managers with inventive learning solutions.
  • Track advancement and record efforts towards leadership development.
  • Work with the worldwide leadership team to implement questionnaires and hone leadership abilities.

Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (25%)

  • Point up areas lacking diversity and coordinate crews to close them.
  • Lead initiatives based on our company’s principles that centre diversity and inclusion.
  • Work on diversity projects alongside the regional gender adviser.
  • Help create people management strategies supporting inclusiveness and fairness.
  • Share with national office officials the most recent diversity policies.

Projects for Process Improvement: 15%

  • Lead initiatives to streamline People & Culture systems in order to increase agility and creativity.
  • Track performance management, diversity targets, and survey data to direct our approach.
  • Record our development and yearly execution of our strategy.

Ten percent of knowledge management is

  • Share East African success stories to inspire learning.
  • Help create regional knowledge databases including People & Culture practices.
  • By supporting best practices, encourage reciprocal learning across national offices.

What You Should Use

  • Five years or more of human resources experience, three of which have been spent working for an NGO.
  • Experience in a regional or worldwide capacity, particularly for diversity projects or talent management programs.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Master’s degree is a bonus; a Bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, or a related discipline is required.
  • Love of serving others blossom, particularly in varied teams.

Business & Travel

About thirty percent of your time in the office will be spent travelling the region.
