Established in 2000, non-governmental COCODA Tanzania works to meet the needs of HIV/AIDS-affected orphans and vulnerable children (OVC). With an eye towards sustainable community development, COCODA seeks to manage HIV among certain vulnerable groups in Tanzania through its Kizazi Hodari Project. Applications for the following roles are now invited by the company:

1. Manager of Projects: 1 Njombe Region is the position location.
reports to: Technical Director

Provide general leadership and supervision of the USAID Kizazi Hodari project in the Njombe Region, therefore guaranteeing efficient cooperation with local authorities.

Main Accountability:

  • Support project personnel technically, functionally, and administratively.
  • Control project expenses and budgets.
  • Guarantee effective and high quality project execution.
  • Get ready and send the Director narrative reports.

Author qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in either Sociology, Public Health, Economic Development, or another pertinent discipline.
  • Minimum three years of pertinent experience.

Job Objective: Oversaw the Kizazi Hodari project’s monitoring and assessment activities.

Principal obligations:

  • Oversaw M&E projects and created data collecting systems.
  • Back up performance reporting and data analysis.
  • Perform evaluations of internal data quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Statistics, or allied subjects.
  • Three years of background in evaluation and monitoring.
  • Very good English and Kiswahili communication abilities.
  • 3. Two Positions – Case Management Officer (CMO)
  • Location: The Njombe Region
  • To: Project Manager

Manage the council level National Integrated Case Management System for employment objectives.

Principal obligations:

  • Direct case management efforts and oversee Community Case Workers (CCWs).
  • Verify following of kid protection guidelines.
  • Work with authorities of local governments.

Certifications:

  • either Public Health or Social Work diploma.
  • Knowledge in handling case management systems.
  • 4. Two Positions for Health Technical Officer (HTO)
  • Location: the Njombe Region
  • References to: Project Manager

Coordinate under the Kizazi Hodari project health services.

Main obligations:

  • Work with teams in health management to offer high-quality medical treatments.
  • Help community case workers link OVC who is HIV positive to treatment.

Characteristics:

Medical/nursing diploma or degree with background in HIV/AIDS initiatives.
Excellent communication and networking abilities.
5. Economic Strengthening Officer (ESO) – 1 Njombe Region is the position location.
Reports to the Project Manager.

Job Objective: Help OVC carers and Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) to be financially empowered.

Principal obligations:

  • Oversaw Kaya Facilitators to guarantee effective financial literacy program delivery.
  • Analyse markets and establish corporate networks.

Competencies:

  • Business Administration diploma or in allied disciplines.
  • Two years of expertise in neighbourhood economic development.
